Our New KONA Series, the KONA Honu is a Hybrid Backhand - with a Lightweight EXO and traditional backhand - increasing flexibility, while still offering increased durability and shot protection. The KONA Honu includes 10 removable fingersaves and 4mm Supreme + German Grip, with a new Extend Wrist Strap for more security.
INTERNAL GRIP: Internal Silicone Palm secures hand in place - German Supreme Grip +, All-Weather, Turf Approved is one of the top Latex's used in the world, it will provide amazing grip and provide great feel for the ball. It is highly recommended to Pre-wet for best grip possible, wetting the Supreme Latex will activate the chemicals in the Latex as well as decrease the wear on the glove, the chemicals in the Latex, as well as decrease the wear on the glove.
Finger Protection: 10 Removable Finger Saves (finger + thumb), which can be easily removed via the Finger Save Entry.
PALM: Our Most popular palm, BioHYBRID - 3 cuts in one for increased latex contact with the ball and pre curve to keep you on top of your catch, while providing maximum comfort.
Turf and Grass Approved/Weather: Built for Wet or Dry with an all new Composite + EXO backhand to give you comfort, increased durability and flexibility. Dampen the palm in dry conditions to activate the latex.
WRIST: Hybrid Elastic + Latex Wrist Strap - Easy On/Off Entry with our new Secure Strap Latex/Elastic Hybrid Wrist strap with tangle free velcro for added security provide a snug and close fitting enclosure along with an extra large Glove iD box.
Backhand: A new Hybrid backhand provides a composite finger area with punch zone, with EXO-SKIN lower area for increased flexibility and comfort, while giving increased breathability and lowered weight on the glove compared to traditional KONA series models.
GLOVE SIZE GUIDELINES
- Goalkeeping Gloves should be worn slightly larger than hands
- Fingers SHOULD NOT be touching the tip of the gloves
- Removing Finger Protection will make a glove 1/2 size larger.
- Reverse/Negative glove cuts are a snugger fit, so it's often best to go a size up if on the border.
How To Measure Your Hands:
Option 1: Measure the circumference of the widest part of the palm measure the circumference of the widest part of the palm including the thumb. Round up to the next highest inch.
Option 2: Measure the length of the hand from tip of the middle finger to the base of the large thumb area where the keeper's thumb meets the wrist. Round up to the next highest inch.
Example: 7.5" rounds up to 8", so a 7 3/4 around hand is a size 8 glove.
